Start your own business by becoming a CPR Instructor!
Becoming an AHA Instructor is a simple process if you follow these 4 steps:
Step 1
You must have a current provider ecard in the discipline you wish to teach. If you want to become a Heartsaver Instructor then you must have a current Heartsaver ecard. If you want to become a BLS Instructor then you must have a current BLS ecard. Please note, if you become a BLS Instructor then you can teach both BLS and Heartsaver. If you want to become an ACLS Instructor then you must have a current ACLS ecard. If you want to become a PALS Instructor then you must have a current PALS ecard.
Make sure to have access to your current ecard because you will need to upload it during the sign up process in step 4.
(If your not current in any of the above disciplines Full Code Services can get you current)
Step 2
Complete the American Heart Association’s Essentials Instructor Course per discipline you wish to teach. Each course takes about 2 hours.

(please note - BLS Instructors may teach BLS and Heartsaver courses)

PALS Instructor Essentials https://shopcpr.heart.org/pals-instructor-essentials-online
Make sure to have access to your Instructor Essentials certificate because you will need to upload it during the sign up process in step 4.
Step 3
Successfully complete the Instructor Course with Full Code Services in the discipline or disciplines you wish to teach.
Be monitored by Full Code Services while teaching your first class. This will be scheduled on the same day of your instructor course.
Step 4
Complete the automated Instructor paperwork esign process on the Full Code Services website then create your Instructor Portal account within the Full Code Services website.
